Short Layered Hair
Short, layered hair even has its own place in history. The Greek try
to claim that they were the first ones to use the short, layered hair
concept but it was really used by the Roman’s who conquered the hair
style. It was a way of changing your look especially if your hair grew
out faster when it was cut. This meant that if you didn’t like the hair
style then you were not forced to keep it for very long.
Some women with thick hair like the option of having short hair in the
winter and summer and long hair in the fall and spring. According to the
almanac you cut your hair at a certain time on the calendar and then in
just a few weeks to have long hair once again for the spring and summer.
This theory is not just theory but is a proven fact as so many farmers
in the old country went by this when it was time to cut hair. The women
would schedule there hair cuts around this in order to get the
fulfillment of having both long hair and short hair with out having to
add anything to the hair but a simple hair cut.
 Short, layered hair is always a favorite in the summer and in the winter
because it is easy to use and easy to style. Short, layered hair is
back. Its back because it can be toweled dried and you do not have to
use a hair dryer. You can put the towel on it and dry in just a couple
of minutes and if you want to add volume for your hair stay fluffy and
in place you just add moose and hair spray before it dries completely.
There is no turning on the curling iron or straight iron even for the
short, layered hair style.
The layers start out in the front of the head as being about 1-3 inches
long depending on what the woman wants on her hair. Then from the
determined length in the front; the hair is cut in layers to a certain
point in the back of the head. After the layers are done on the top of
the head the hair dresser focuses on the back and generally finishes
with a fine shave from an electric shaver at the back of the hair.
Short layered hair is beginning to be popular again in the United States
because you can have the look of long hair but still keep it cut short.
